Founder & Principal
Jason Carter brings a rigorous technical background to the administration of trusts and estates. With a unique combination of legal training (JD, Texas Tech School of Law) and advanced financial expertise (MS, Personal Financial Planning), Jason focuses on the structural and regulatory complexities of fiduciary service.
A former Trust Officer for major financial institutions, Jason has managed the administration and oversight of countless complex trusts and estates. He eventually left the institutional world with a specific goal in mind: to build a “fiduciary first” service firm that addressed critical gaps in the market. He recognized that many families were being underserved by traditional models that viewed fiduciary services as ancillary to their primary lines of business. Thus, SFC was created to bridge those gaps, ensuring that the fiduciary mindset remains the top priority in every engagement.
Jason is married to his wife, Natalie, and they are the proud parents of three daughters.
